Our outdoor dining area overlooks the Rio Napo and offers gorgeous sunset views. It is the perfect place to unwind and share stories at the end of the day. Meals are thoughtfully prepared by our professional chef who leverages the Amazon’s bounty while sourcing premium, specialty ingredients across the country to create fresh, healthy epicurean feasts. Family-style meals feature both Western favorites and Ecuadorian specialties.

Many of the fruits, vegetables and superfoods on our menu at Minga Lodge & Sanctuary are sourced from the 173-acre working farm across the river.
Situated on over 173 acres, the Minga Superfood Farm is where we grow popular superfoods like cacao, plantains and the coffee you drink at the lodge. But it’s so much more. It’s also a center for sustainable agriculture, training and conservation. It houses a 10,750 square-foot greenhouse, a 4,300 square foot tree nursery and 25 flowers for a bee garden. The tree nursery produces 5,000 seedlings every six months, most of which are native Amazon plants. These are distributed as part of the local reforestation program.
The farm is also home to the Melipona Bee Rescue Center and Sanctuary. These small, stingless bees are powerful pollinators and critical to the biodiversity of the area. On average, they pollinate 1000 flowers per day – producing the delicious honey that graces your table at Minga Lodge.
